Equifax Settles Massive Data Breach Suit
Almost 147 million people’s personal information was compromised in Equifax’s massive 2017 data breach. Equifax settled a class-action suit against them requiring Equifax to contribute $380 MM toward helping consumers who were harmed by the breach.

Paying $25 an hour for up to 20 hours of time spent fixing identity theft
Reimbursements of up to $20,000 for losses
Up to 10 years of credit monitoring worth $1,920
$125 for those who already have credit-card monitoring
Identity restoration for seven years
